Immersed in a centuries-old tradition, absolutely worth experiencing among toselli, good food and tamurriate, a religious and civil event will take place from 25 to 28 April 2025 in Pagani in the province of Salerno. The festivity, celebrated in the sanctuary of the same name, is organized by the Carmelite fathers of the sanctuary itself and by the Archconfraternity of the Madonna delle Galline. A centuries-old tradition that mixes the sacred and the profane in which the Tammurriata stands out, a traditional popular dance that ends at dawn on Monday, when the musicians place the tammorre at the foot of the statue of the Madonna.
