ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2025 - 15TH EDITI
Locality: Rome | Region: Lazio
from: 11 July 2025 to: 24 July 2025
Genre: Art

ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to announce the opening of the 15th edition of ROME
INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2025,international exhibition of photography, painting, video
art, installation/sculpture and performance art. The exhibition will open to the public on July
11,2025,at 06: 00 PM at Medina Art Gallery in Rome, and will run until July 24,2025.ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2025 analyzes the relationship between body and
space, and the hybridization between identities and cultural/physical/social/urban settings
in contemporary times, through two main sections: MIXING IDENTITIES and FUTURE
LANDSCAPES. MIXING IDENTITIES analyzes the hidden parts of our identities, through an immersive
experience inside the fascinating universe of the complex labyrinths of our consciousness. The human body is a changing system that connects us with other bodies and spaces to
perceive the surrounding reality; a strong communication system with its own language
and infinite ways of expression. FUTURE LANDSCAPES are abstract, infinite and conceptual, associated with a sense of
freedom and infinite extension. Primarily experienced with the mind, spaces redefine their
limits and borders, transforming surfaces in an open flow of pure ideas. This section
focuses on the concept of the borders and the structures between body, mind and soul, the human identity and the city, the space and the ground. The MIXING IDENTITIES section delves into the complexity of human identities, portraying the body as both a medium and a space of communication, revealing the
multifaceted nature of being. Elisa Pollien’s work, through her exploration of tension and
harmony within duality, employs a bold figurative style deeply rooted in the human form. She navigates the thresholds between light and shadow, reality and imagination, unveiling
the fragile equilibrium that shapes our inner landscapes. Her technique blends fine art
training with raw urban influences, layering precise brushwork with textures inspired by
street art. Elisa works across unconventional surfaces, from canvases to walls and skin, treating each as a living medium: a freedom of expression, both technical and conceptual, that reinforces her core message - that art is not confined, but constantly shifting between
contrasts, belonging to everyone and no one. Sharing an interest in the fragile boundaries
of inner emotional states through layered textures and contrasts, Lyne Bourgeois merges
ink and acrylic on paper to craft intricate, meditative compositions that reflect both inner
stillness and dynamic transformation. Each work becomes a visual journal, an emotional
and spiritual exploration where boundaries are gently tested. Lyne's fluid gestures and organic forms invite viewers into a contemplative space that
balances vulnerability and strength, offering glimpses into personal growth, resilience, and
the quiet clarity that emerges through creation. Jenni Tan’s "Stormy Sea" captures the raw force of nature as a metaphor for inner turmoil
and transformation: working with expressive, moody palettes, she channels the
unpredictability of the ocean to reflect life’s emotional tides. Her technique embraces
spontaneity, marks and sketch textures to evoke a dreamlike atmosphere, where clarity
and ambiguity coexist, balancing childlike freedom with deliberate energy. At its core, Tan’s
work is a response to nature’s rhythms, using visual movement and emotive color to
pursue inner calm amidst chaos. A similar objective in connecting personal emotion with
universal experience can be found in Simone Cosac Naify’s "Origem de Vida", a work
which focuses on the profound intersections of memory, maternity, pain, freedom, and
violence through a multimedia painterly language. Through a nuanced blend of figurative
and abstract elements, Naify’s art captures the complexity of human existence, transforming intimate narratives into universal reflections. For Lana Kuperman too art is liberation, a space where instinct guides the hand and every
piece becomes a personal act of reinvention. In "Baltic Tan" the artist reflects her
multidisciplinary journey through music, theater, and visual art, merging emotional depth
with technical freedom. Her painterly approach defies rigid structures, allowing each stroke
to speak with clarity and movement. Drawing inspiration from the Baltic landscape and her
nomadic life across Russia, Israel, and Lithuania, this work captures both a physical place
and an internal state of transition: the warm, sun-drenched hues evoke nostalgia, while her
intuitive, fluid brushwork underscores a refusal to conform. Italian photographer Arianna Trigiante draws from cinematic language to craft layered
visual narratives infused with symbolic tension and philosophical undertones. Her
photographic compositions possess a painterly sensibility, employing chiaroscuro, double
exposure, and digital manipulation to evoke themes of duality and transcendence. Each
image becomes both a visual story and a psychological mirror, inviting the viewer to
pause, decode, and feel, where beauty becomes a vessel for inner revelation and
metaphysical inquiry. Her practice resonates with Rihab Alghathami’s conceptual
investigation of consciousness and spirituality. In “Soul”, Alghathami engages deeply with
the philosophical dimensions of visual culture, employing a refined, research-driven
aesthetic language to explore the inner landscapes of the human mind. Similarly, Oad Siebensee approaches the metaphysical from a spiritualist perspective. In
“Die Sonne der Trauer der Welt”, he renders transparent human souls - his signature
motif - with meticulous realism, presenting them as vessels of cosmic communication and
inner clarity. His works become both philosophical inquiries and visual revelations, inviting
contemplation on the eternal unity of being and the radiant sorrow that binds the world. FUTURE LANDSCAPES redefines spatial, mental, and identity boundaries, proposing
speculative visions that stretch beyond the visible, where technology, imagination, and
human agency converge to shape new modes of being. With "Baroque & Jet Hieroglyphs", Imanuel Ellyien merges the precision of aeronautical engineering with the expressive
intensity of baroque aesthetics. Working primarily in charcoal and pen, he translates the
logic of IFR (Instrument Flying Rules) navigation into abstract visual symbology - what he
calls “jet hieroglyphs. ” These emotionally charged compositions map invisible flight paths, capturing the tension between control and chaos, offering a meditation on movement, order, and perception in contemporary space. This expanded notion of landscape, where systems become embodied and tangible, is
echoed in Threshold Lab’s interactive installation "Sweat for Generation - Experiencing the
Labor Unseen". Here, physical effort is required to power a single AI query, transforming
abstract computation into visible exertion. By integrating sensors, mechanical systems, and custom code, the installation creates a direct, bodily interface between human labor
and artificial intelligence. It challenges the illusion of immaterial technology, exposing the
hidden infrastructures behind our digital lives. Through this synthesis of interaction, design, and critique, Threshold Lab redefines our relationship with energy, knowledge, and the
invisible architectures of power. OPENING
