The Sala dei Giganti is one of Padua’s most prestigious venues, famous for its grand 16th-century fresco cycle depicting illustrious men of antiquity as models of past virtue and wisdom. The star of the evening is solo violinist and conductor Elvin Dhimitri, first violin of Opera e Lirica and a leading performer on the contemporary scene. Formerly the first violin of the Rome Philharmonic Orchestra, Dhimitri has collaborated with institutions such as the Toscanini Philharmonic in Parma and the Nuova Scarlatti in Naples. Known for his flawless technique and powerful expressive energy, the artist personally crafts the original arrangements for the program—qualities that have earned him sold-out performances in major European concert halls.
