The exhibition PROUD OF YOU, works by Emilio Conciatori, will be inaugurated on Friday 22 March at 6 pm. Open until 22 April 2024 at the Case Romane del Celio, one of the most fascinating places in the
Underground Rome. Conceived and organized by CoopCulture in collaboration with the EMILIO CONCIATORI ARCHIVE (edited
by Mauro Conciatori, and curated by Romina Guidelli and Tanja Mattucci, the exhibition aims to be the
first heartfelt homage to the artist who conquered the world with the "divine" light and the hypnotic colors of his canvases
even Hollywood, so much so that Stanley Kubrick wanted him to create the first poster
from the film "2001: A Space Odyssey". The exhibition will be created in collaboration with the director and photographer Mauro Conciatori, heir of
master and sole holder of the historical archive of his works, who for the occasion will present the
unreleased video PROUD OF YOU. THE WORKS ON EXHIBITION
Visitors will be able to admire ten works, belonging to Emilio Conciatori's latest production, before his passing on January 17,2017.His chromatic research mixes techniques
paintings by the masters of the history of ancient art with new pigments and elements of composition. The basis and starting point of every painting by him, the sole protagonist of passionate and mysterious landscapes, is the
color. The essence of color characterizes, in fact, his creative world, leaving a profound mark
in contemporary art and in the memory of each of us. “Planets never seen, Odysseys and Spaces. Something goes and something comes back on every canvas: let it go. There
freedom, this is the prayer painted by Emilio in every painting: that everything happens and never happens because
energy is of becoming. Emilio was like that, very lively and tenacious. He treasures every work of his
an opportunity: to see or to miss. Let everything happen, here and now, or imagine that
out of sight it is happening… In unknown parts of parallel Universes life is taking place
and the energy that propagates that action is a palpable presence, the possibility of dynamic and concrete vision
in a condition of perfect stasis. Each painting by Emilio Conciatori is a silent re-evolution” he writes

Mauro Conciatori echoes her: “For my father, color was life, life was colour; a unique combination and
essential to transform our presence on this planet into something priceless. From
he understood the importance of light, the ability to generate life and color through light. And for
light is everything to me. He knew how to illuminate canvases like few others in the world, he drew expressions and
emotions through light; that was his starting point and his arrival point. He was instinctive
that he had been able to make the best of his experiences, even his painful ones. Having been in contact with
