For this reason, in anticipation of one of Italy’s most-watched media events—which draws 200 countries and a total of 650 million television viewers each year— the town in the Belluno area will host the finish line of the 19th stage of the 2026 Giro d’Italia, with the finish in Alleghe at “Piani di Pezzè 1,456 m, ” in the shadow of Monte Civetta. A stage entirely in the Belluno area, starting from Feltre, which will take place along a challenging 151-km route featuring the Cereda, Duran, Staulanza, Giau, and Falzarego passes, and finally the final stretch at Piani di Pezzè—a concluding climb of just five kilometers but with an average gradient nearing 10% and maximum peaks of 15%—which promises to be decisive and thrilling from start to finish.
